March 2009 News:- London Office - New Visualfiles specialist joins - James Bryant-Hunt has joined Saturn27's UK consulting team with effect 2nd March. James joins from Lester Aldridge LLP in Bournemouth where he was Case Development Manager. James previously spent 5 years working for VisualFiles implementing their core products SolCase and Visualfiles - now owned by Saturn27's partner LexisNexis. James is bringing his wealth of experience around the development of VisualFiles and Solcase to support UK law firms and welcomes enquiries.
February 2009 News:- London Office - New users of i-balance for Elite PMS - Version 2.0 of i-balance, Saturn27's own developed solution for maintaining the financial integrity of the Elite database, was released in December 2008 and is gradually being rolled out to users. As well as recently adding four new clients to its' growing base namaley Withers Worldwide, Eversheds, Charles Russell and Anderson Strathern, Saturn27 is also pleased to announce that RadcliffesLeBrasseur, CMS Cameron McKenna, Berwin Leighton Paisner, Wright Hassall and Ince & Co are all now live with the enhanced solution. Paul Steward of Withers says of i-balance, "The main benefit of i-balance is it just runs in the background and tells me what has gone wrong rather than me having to keep checking that everything is OK. This alone saves my team a minimum of 30 minutes a day."
February 2009 News :- London Office - Sale of Whitehill One to Capsticks Solictors LLP - Beating off competition from Tikit & Metastorm, Saturn27 is very pleased to announce that Capsticks Solicitors LLP has selected Saturn27 to implement the Whitehill One BPI solution from Oracle to improve and streamline many of its' critical business processes. One of the UK's leading healthcare law firms, Capsticks handle a wide range of work for over 200 NHS, regulatory, voluntary and private sector healthcare organisations. Clients include the Department of Health, the General Dental Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the Healthcare Commission, Nuffield Hospitals and the Terence Higgins Trust. The order, which includes integration with Visualfiles Case Management systems as well as the firms core Elite PMS, provides installation, training, and set up services to deliver new procedures for up to 150 fee earners in the firms Putney office. This wil save them immense amounts of time and give fee earners more time to attend to important client matters.
February 2009 News:- London Office - Sale of Draft Billing Solution to Wragge & Co - Delivered with record implementation time, Top 20 law firm Wragge & Co based in Birmingham has taken Randy Steere PrebillManager software from Saturn27 and deployed it firmwide with immediate benefit and zero problems on rollout. The software is designed to simplify the whole draft billing process and was only ordered in December. The installation, with Saturn27, took place in January and is now fully live and operational. The new system fully replaces old procedures which were largely report and paper based, utilising a combiniation of Business Objects and Crystal Reports together with Fee Earner, Matter Management and Billing Guide reports. Under that process, the Billing Guide Report, although parameterised, was frequently amended by hand, physically moved by hand and required billing team members to undertake changes to information in ADERANT Expert. In addition the old process has no method of automatically identifying those pre-bills in progress or quantifying the value of bills 'in-stock'.
